A family run enterprise, Abbey Garden Machinery was established in 1976 when Steve John began repairing and servicing mowers. The business soon flourished and Steve also branched out into selling new machines. During the 90's both of his sons chose to join their dad in the business and help to expand the company.

We currently operate sales, service and repairs; including warranty repairs, at our Tavistock and Plymouth Centres.

Whilst we can supply any make and model of garden machinery we are authorised agents for Stiga, Mountfield, Masport, Wolf, Flymo, Jonsered, Shindaiwa, Tanaka, Shibaura, Harry, Ariens, Apache, Lawnstar, Bear Cat, Oleo-mac and Simplicity.

We hold a large stock of second-hand parts for old and obsolete machines. Customers have come from as far afield as Sweden and the Falklands Islands.

Our aim is to provide the right machine for your garden. Our sales team have a wide experience and are able to point you towards the perfect machine to match your needs. It's imperative to ensure that the equipment is capable of doing what you require, if it can't, then you have wasted your money. We want to ensure that this does not happen.
